Cavitation and Bubble dynamics group

Welcome to my homepage! I am Badarinath Karri, an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at IIT Hyderabad (IIT-H), India. My research interest is in the broad area of multi-phase flows and I specialize in experimental investigation. Our group uses high-speed imaging and optical diagnostic tools to study two-phase flows induced by cavitation bubbles. We have also done studies on bubble rise dynamics and falling droplets. Additionally, I collaborate with IIT-H colleagues who do simulation and theoretical work to try and design experiments to support or validate their results.
