- Entering the classroom
- Procedures and expectations
- Come in quietly
- Put backpack and belongings in your cubby
- Put homework in the bin on Friday
- Get a sharpened pencil
- Go to the bathroom if you haven’t already done so
- Get math and science binder
- Begin morning work
- When morning work is finished read/ work on homework
- **Throw breakfast in HALLWAY garbage
- Procedures and expectations
- Morning meeting
- Sit down quietly in the circle
- Only talk when you have the stuffed animal/ball
- Give everyone the chance to speak
- Be an active listener
- Look at the speaker
- Respect all viewpoints
- Don’t use names when we are talking about other people. You could say:
- Friend
- Classmate
- Person
- Whole group lessons
- Sit up
- Listen
- Ask and answer questions
- Raise your hand
- Nod your head
- Track the speaker
- Small group/ rotations
- Follow instructions for each rotation
- Complete the work assigned to each rotations
- Ask a friend or neighbor if you have a question about the assignment
- When it is time to rotate clean up your section and put completed work in the bin
- Before leaving the classroom
- Look around your desk or workstation
- Clean any trash or paper on the floor
- Put ALL papers away (do not stuff them in a desk)
- Sweep the floor
- Get your backpack and wait at your seats for further directions
- Look around your desk or workstation
