Entrepreneurship Class

In the Entrepreneurship class students are given the opportunity to run their own business. This hands-on experience immerses students in the business activities of marketing, operations, selling, finance, accounting, management, collaboration, and overcoming challenges.

This past fall, the Entrepreneurship class had two businesses, Strezz Ballz, and Tiger Toys. Strezz Ballz sold white stress balls with the Daniel Hand logo on it. The Tiger Toys company sold water bottles printed with the Daniel hand paw logo, as well as megaphones at sporting events to encourage school pride and spirit.

The money made from the operations of the two businesses will be used to award a senior a scholarship who has enrolled in business courses during their time at Daniel Hand High School, and who wishes to pursue business as a major.
