American History: I am very excited to teach students so many fascinating concepts of history!
In my American History Classes, students will be evaluating, analyzing and demonstrating their understanding of key concepts throughout our nation's history.  Students will build on previous knowledge to discuss and identify various economic, social, cultural, geographic and political factors that have helped shape our nation. Students will be engaged in group projects, presentations and individual assignments. Classroom participation is vital. I provide my students with a caring and nurturing environment where kindness and respect are modeled and expected. Students may call me "Mrs. Amanda."
Economics & Personal Finance:Â I am excited to help students learn how to save & manage money and prepare for their future!
In my Economic & Personal Finance Classes, students will be identifying and comparing various concepts and factors that will help them be able to make good financial decisions as they begin to embark on their journey to employment.  This course will help prepare students to make informed and responsible decisions in money management and financial literacy. Students will take part in projects, presentations and individual assignments. Classroom participation is vital.
