Physical Education
Madison Rose Lane Elementary
Inspiring Passion for Learning and Leading in an Ever-Changing World
What will we do in P.E.
At Rose Lane our goal in P.E. is to teach our students the skills they need to pursue and maintain a healthful lifestyle. Students will participate in activities to develop motor skills, how to be strategic when playing games, as well as social and emotional skills. For example, how to be a good sport and or team mate. We will also discuss what health literacy means. These skills will help develop the knowledge needed to value and maintain a physically active lifestyle for the rest of their lives.
Meet the Teacher
About me
Angie Gulick, K-4 P.E.
I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. In fact, my family came to AZ in 1887. I am a 3rd generation native of Phoenix and attended Madison schools K-8th grade. I earned my Masters in Education at Grand Canyon University. I have been married to my husband for 22 years and we have 5 children.
I grew up playing almost every sport and have a passion to teach children the love of an active lifestyle. Today my favorite activities are swimming, Orange Theory Fitness, and anything my kids want to go do (hiking, camping, rafting). Crossing fingers they don't get into extreme sports or I may have to sit back and watch. Those are intense!
I am excited for another great year at Rose Lane!
Contacting Me
The best way to contact me is through email. You can email me at agulick@madisoned.org. Please be sure to include your child's first and last name as well as which of my classes they are enrolled in. It's important to remember that I see every student on campus at some point throughout the year; including as much information as you can to help me know exactly who your student is will be very helpful.
