Social Emotional Learning
Dear Madison Park LIONS Families,
We hope you and your loved ones are taking a day at a time. We know that things can be overwhelming returning to school after the summer. We are excited to welcome our students back on campus and eager to get started with supporting them not only academically but Social Emotionally as well. As Anthony J. D'angelo said "Don't fear change, EMBRACE it." With the consent change taking place for our students coming into middle school to perhaps moving on to 6th, 7th, or 8th grade, we gladly remind you that we are here to help in any way, shape and form possible.
Madison District alongside Madison Park wants to ensure that your child(ren)'s social and emotional (SEL) support is in place, especially in relation to stress, anxiety or in general entering our new campus that has just been built.
We will be sharing SEL information, resources and activities throughout this site to help continue and promote: *identifying feelings/emotions, *appropriate communication styles, * management of feelings/emotions, *etc.
Please reach out to us as you navigate through our site and or if any questions arise.
With affection and appreciation,
Mrs. López & Ms. Santos
