About Mrs. Hale

Jordana Hale Bio

As a second career educator, Jordana’s goal has always been to instill a love of learning for a lifetime and to prepare each student for success in future years. With twenty-one years of business experience before becoming an educator, she enjoys bringing real world knowledge to the classroom and providing student’s with unique learning experiences.

Jordana earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Arizona in 1983 and began a career and a family soon thereafter. After working in the accounting and finance industry and owning a business, she realized that her best days were the ones spent in her children’s classrooms. This lead her to enroll in a post-baccalaureate/masters program in Elementary Education at the University of Phoenix where she received a teaching certificate and Masters degree in June 2004.

After teaching 4th and 5th grade for six years, in the Cave Creek School District, Jordana was offered her dream job of teaching math for Tesseract Middle School, where she taught for five years. After “retiring” from the classroom in 2014, Jordana worked for Grand Canyon University, as a Site Supervisor, mentoring student teachers across the valley, as well as tutoring students in all grade levels.

Most of Jordana’s professional development has been focused in the area of educating gifted students, project based learning and differentiated instruction, and it is her belief that all children should be provided with “gifted” opportunities. She has also attended many math related conferences, seeking ideas and strategies to help students develop a love of math, and to reduce student math anxiety.

Jordana is very excited to be heading back to the classroom this year at Madison Meadows Middle School, as once again she realized that her best days were the ones spent in the classroom with her student teachers and their students.
