Hello! My name is Mrs. Korte (formally known as Ms. Reeves) Madison's Library Media Specialist. This is my 14th year with the district. I absolutely love my job and my students! There is nothing quite like teaching and learning from kids!
I am a daughter, sister, mother, auntie, cousin, friend, teacher, and recently a wife. I love Jesus, spending time with my kids and family, hiking, riding my bike, cuddling with my dog, shopping at Goodwill, playing games, traveling (especially to the ocean), singing loudly in my car, and all things Disney, seafood, coffee, and music related!
The Summer of 2025 was an exciting one! My family and I experienced a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Ireland! It was a beautiful country filled with great food, music and dancing! The scenery was like heaven on earth! I spent more time with my niece, as she continues to grow. Mr. Korte and I took a 2nd anniversary trip to North Carolina to celebrate. I also moved my son (a senior at Webster University) and daughter (a freshman at Murray State University) into their residences at college.
Please enjoy the photos below!
The Summer of 2024 was a stay-cation in St. Louis for me and my family. We visited the zoo, history museum, movie in the park, rented paddle boats and rode the trolley. We moved my son into his new college apartment, and visited 6 colleges for my daughter! She chose to apply to Murray State University in Kentucky. I also got to babysit my niece in Nashville, Tn. twice!!
