About Matt Muldowney
My name is Matt Muldowney, a rising senior at Madison Country Day School. I love music, computers, and basketball. Throughout high school, I've enjoyed exploring concepts in physics, chemistry, and biology. Specifically, how these concepts are applied in real-world science is what intrigues me most. I'm excited to have this experience in the Cardiovascular Fluid Dynamics Lab at the at UW-Madison this summer.
About the CVFD Lab
The UW Cardiovascular Fluid Dynamics Laboratory focuses its research on fluid dynamics analysis of physiological and pathological flows using a combination of medical imaging, additive manufacturing, and computational fluid dynamics. The results of the lab are used to develop improved diagnostic and surgical planning techniques through a collaboration with physicians.
