On May 28, 2026 FFA members and families came together to celebrate the successes of the past year. Alumni Tricia Coon (Burns) was our guest speaker. Also, along with a variety of plaque awards received four members were able to earn their very own FFA Blue Jacket.

Math teacher M. Rocio organized free trees from the DEC "Plant a Tree" program for the 3rd straight year, and had students from her math classes and the Ag classes plant them in the FFA/Ag Field. This year we planted Red Oak Trees in strategic spots to enhance the nature trail and outdoor classroom area alongside previously planted speckled alders, white cedar, highbush cranberry, and silky dogwood..

From July 28 to 31 Madison FFA members could be found present in the Agricultural Exhibition with the Onieda County Farm Bureau at the Onieda County Fair. Vice President Lauren and President Harris spent the week educating the public about aquaculture in the classroom and FFA.
At the Oneida County Fair, Madison FFA member Jenna Burns could be seen showing dairy cattle. Throughout the week she won many ribbons alongside her family. Lauren and Harris could also be found in the cattle barns taking pictures and snuggling the calves. On Youth Day at the fair the Burns family allowed people to pet their calves and educated the public on dairy farming. Thank you to Burnslan Farm from Vernon Center, NY.
