This progression tool takes each strand throughout the Kentucky Academic Standards for Reading and Writing and places it in the context of it's K-12 progression.  This allows the user to see how specific skills are developed and build across the grade levels. 

This tool compares each standard from the Kentucky Academic Standards for Reading and Writing with the Common Core standards that correspond. This specifically allows the user to evaluate the instructional resources that are aligned to the Common Core and check for their congruence with the KAS.
