Expectations

Respect self, peers, staff, and environment at all times.

Inappropriate behavior (play fight, swearing, running inside, etc.) is not allowed.

Students must follow all staff instructions.

No bullying; after school is a safe space for everyone.

No cell phones or unauthorized use of chromebook during after school.

Students must remain in assigned areas at all times.

Students may not leave the school and then return for after school clubs. They will not be allowed back in the building.

Students must have staff permission and be accompanied by staff to move between areas. 

There is zero tolerance for theft. 

Cleaning up after themselves and picking up all trash/food wrappers is expected from everyone.

All program rules and expectations remain in place on the bus or other transportation home. 

3 Strike Policy:

Students will receive verbal warnings and be talked to about behavior that violates after school rules and behavioral expectations. If the behavior continues, especially day after day, strikes will be given out.

1. First strike: email home about behavior and explanation of 3 strike policy

2. Second strike: phone call home and working together on a behavioral plan

3. Third strike: phone call home to explain that their student is not allowed back in programming anymore

This policy is to ensure that after school programming remains a safe and welcoming place for everyone, students and staff alike. It will be strictly enforced to keep the space positive for all. Respetarse a sí mismo, a sus compañeros, al personal y al medio ambiente en todo momento.

No se permite el comportamiento inapropiado (jugar a pelear, maldecir, correr adentro, etc.).

Los estudiantes deben seguir todas las instrucciones del personal.

Sin intimidación; después de la escuela es un espacio seguro para todos.

No se permiten teléfonos celulares ni uso no autorizado de Chromebook después de clases.

Los estudiantes deben permanecer en las áreas asignadas en todo momento.

Los estudiantes no pueden salir de la escuela y luego regresar para asistir a clubes extracurriculares. No se les permitirá regresar al edificio.

Los estudiantes deben tener permiso del personal y estar acompañados por el personal para moverse entre áreas. 

Hay tolerancia cero con el robo. 

Se espera que todos limpien y recojan toda la basura y envoltorios de alimentos.

Todas las reglas y expectativas del programa permanecen vigentes en el autobús u otro medio de transporte a casa. 

Política de 3 huelgas:

Los estudiantes recibirán advertencias verbales por comportamiento que viole las reglas y expectativas de comportamiento después de la escuela. Si el comportamiento continúa, especialmente semana tras semana, se concederán huelgas.

1. Primer aviso: envíe un correo electrónico a casa sobre el comportamiento y la explicación de la política de 3 avisos

2. Segundo strike: llamar a casa y trabajar juntos en un plan de comportamiento

3. Tercer strike: llamada telefónica a casa explicando que al estudiante ya no se le permite volver a programar

Esta política tiene como objetivo garantizar que la programación extracurricular siga siendo un lugar seguro y acogedor para todos, tanto los estudiantes como el personal. Se aplicará estrictamente para mantener el espacio positivo para todos.
