Sennett MSCR Behavior Expectations

MSCR’s mission at Sennett Middle School is to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all scholars. We aim to provide accessible enrichment activities that serve all of our social communities. We want all students to be able to participate in programming, to do so, while students are at MSCR programming they are required to follow our Sennett MSCR Behavior Expectations.

1. Maintain safe behavior for self, peers, staff and environments at ALL times

2. Respect self, peers, staff and environments at ALL times

3. Inappropriate behavior (play fighting, running in the hallways, swearing, etc.) NOT tolerated

4. Scholars are expected to follow ALL staff directions, the first time

5. Our environment is a safe place for EVERYONE, bullying is NOT tolerated

6. Electronics (phones, tablets, earbuds, smartwatches, etc.) are to be off and away at all times, unless AFTER receiving staff permission for an appropriate reason

7. Scholars must stay in their assigned area at all times, scholars must receive permission to move in between designated program areas

8. ZERO tolerance for theft

9. Food is only permitted in food areas

10. Behavior expectations are to be followed during ALL MSCR programming (on the bus, field trips, sporting events, etc.) 

Scholars will get a copy of these Sennett MSCR Behavior Expectations when they begin programming. They will sign their copy, acknowledging that they received and agree to these non-negotiables.
