Per state law, work permits are required for 14 & 15 year-olds.

The Department of Workforce Development (DWD) uses online portal for guardians to apply for work permits online.
STOP!
MSCR cannot reimburse you for a second work permit if incorrect information was entered on the first.
Please follow the directions below carefully and use your full legal name.

IMPORTANT: Your parent or legal guardian will need to register for an account before they can apply for a work permit.
If you already have a DWD account you can log in using the "Create a Work Permit" button
Once you have created or logged into your DWD account you should be on a page that says "Create a Work permit." (If you are not, click on "Create a work permit")
You will then completed the needed information on each screen (Please see the Steps to Create a Work Permit guide for details)

-MSCR reimburses the $10 permit fee after completion of all paperwork
Download a copy of your work permit (Directions)
Submit your work permit with your other paperwork (email to your Program Assistant)
If you are having issues with the online system contact your Program Assistant (reply to your "Welcome" email).
