Creating Your FSA ID (Guardians & Students)

You can create your FSA ID at any time and will need an FSA ID to complete the FAFSA.

• Students need to create an FSA ID

• Parents/Guardians should only create an FSA ID if it is their first time filling out the FAFSA. If you have previously filled it out for an older sibling then you will use the same FSA ID as you did previously. You do not need to create a new FSA ID.
