McKenna Flores

Artistic Director and High School Choreographer

McKenna Flores is a graduate of Madeira High School and current 6th grade teacher at Cherokee Elementary.  McKenna graduated from Ohio University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography as well as a Bachelor of Science in Middle Childhood Education. 

Some of her favorite post-graduation choreography credits include Somerville Intermediate School-New Zealand (2016), Norwood High School (2019), and Madeira High School (2016-2022).


McKenna is passionate about having a collaborative arts program that acknowledges and appreciates every artistic element of a performance.  She is excited to be strengthening the program while fostering a cohesive and supportive theatrical environment.  McKenna's favorite role was performed on the Madeira stage - Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street.

mari CISNEY

Vocal Director

Mari Wilkerson is the choir director at Madeira City Schools. Mari graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2015, and has since held teaching positions in the greater Cincinnati area. 


In addition to teaching, Mari enjoys performing and competing in the musical theatre genre.  Mari was the 2016 first place winner of The Art of Musical Theatre Great Composer’s Competition, a 2016 semi-finalist in the NATS National Music Theatre Competition, and the 2013 first place winner of the Indiana NATS Musical Theatre division.  Mari’s all-time favorite role to date is that of Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical the Musical. 

Taylor helms

Scenic Designer

Taylor Helms is a multidisciplinary artist from Cincinnati Ohio. She completed her BFA in Fine Art with a minor in Art History in 2021 from the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning. Her personal work focuses on portraiture and surrealism, and she has worked as a muralist with ArtWorks Cincinnati since 2013 on more than 10 public art projects. Alongside public art she is very prominent in the Theatre and Performing Arts scene as a Scenic Artist, working with Playhouse in The Park, Cincinnati Opera and Cincinnati Landmark Productions. She is greatly looking forward to completing her MFA in Stage Design at the College Conservatory of Music. 

Andrea azzarita

Technical Director

Andrea Azzarita is a recent graduate of Purdue University where he studied Civil Engineering and graduated with Highest Distinction in 2023. At Purdue, he was involved in Habitat for Humanity as Construction Chair coordinating volunteering events such as Saturday Builds. He now works in the construction management field as a Project Engineer for Skanska USA Building focusing on healthcare.

He is also a 2019 graduate of Madeira High School and participated in the theater program as lightboard operator and master carpenter. His favorite MTA productions include How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (2019), Almost Maine (2018), and Mamma Mia! (2022).

lori adams

Orchestra Director

Lori Adams is currently the assistant band director for grades 5-12 in Madeira City Schools. Lori has taught both elementary music and instrumental music for over 30 years in Florida and Ohio. She has been the musical conductor for 12 years. Lori currently resides in Madeira with her husband Rick and their two children, Trey and Anna.  She enjoys supporting all aspects of the Madeira City Schools Arts programs.  

Jay adrick

Audio and Video Director

Jay is a graduate of Xavier University with a BS in Communications and an M.Ed. in Educational Media. His 58-year career in broadcasting includes 8 years as a Professor of Communications and Director of Radio/Television at Xavier University and more than 35 years as VP of Broadcast Systems and VP of Advanced Technology for Harris Broadcast. Early in his career, he worked at several Cincinnati radio and television stations in production, engineering and as an “On Air” personality.

At Madeira, Jay directs the audio and video activities for the Theater Arts program and the Medert Auditorium. He also trains students in audio and video production while serving as an advisor to “What’s Up Madeira," a student produced weekly television program on YouTube.

Rick Adams

Audio and Video Director

Rick Adams is currently teaching Graphic Design, STEAM, Game Design, Business, Guitar and Music Media at Madeira High School in Cincinnati, OH. Rick has been a percussion Clinician, Instructor, Arranger and Adjudicator in Ohio, Florida, Georgia, Indiana and Washington State for over 40 years. He currently resides in Madeira with his two children and enjoys supporting all aspects of Music & Theatrical productions.

Costume Designer

Tieraney Flores first helped with costumes during the Fall 2014 production of Miracle Worker and served as the Costume Designer for the Spring of 2015 production of Children of Eden, organizing a large crew of students and parents to construct costumes for the entire cast. She continued to design costumes through Spring of 2017.  After a short break, Tieraney was thrilled to return to the MTA family as Costume Designer with the Spring 2021 Curtain Call and hopes to work on many more productions.  By day, Tieraney is a Nurse Case Manager and mother of 7 (mostly grown) children.

Administrative Assistant/Volunteer Coordinator

Ann Ramos has been a huge fan of Madeira Theatre Arts beginning when her daughter Maria was a fairy in A Midsummer Night's Dream in 2006.  Ann has enjoyed watching and volunteering behind the scenes in almost all of the productions since 2007. Ann taught and coached volleyball before staying home with her four children. Each of her kids have participated in at least one MTA production.  Ann is thrilled to work as a producer with this talented staff.

Middle School Director

Connor is a former 8th grade teacher and current educational aide at Madeira High School.  He grew up performing in theater starting in elementary school all the way through college.  At University of Dayton he was offered to sing in the choirs on a vocal talent scholarship.  Past theater credits include Cornelius Hackel in Hello Dolly and Dean Hyde in All Shook Up.  He has been working with Madeira Theatre since spring of 2021 when he found small ways to help out with Curtain Call.  He was hired to bring back the middle school theater program in the fall of 2021 and made his directorial debut with Honk! Jr

KATELYN CAUTHEN

Middle School Choreographer

Katelyn Cauthen is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer in the Northern KY, Cincinnati area. Katelyn graduated from Point Park University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance (Jazz Concentration) and a Minor in Business. After teaching and performing for a few years, she and her mom, Amy, opened up ConfiDance, a studio in Erlanger, KY dedicated to building confidence through dance. In 2020, Katelyn also discovered a new love for Latin dance and now teaches, performs, and choreographs salsa and bachata with her boyfriend and dance partner, Andre Delgado. Their dance company, CinciMovement, strives to create an inclusive Latin dancing scene in Cincinnati and spread the joy that dance brings to people.   

This will be Katelyn’s third musical production as choreographer. Her first two were The Addams’s Family and Rock of Ages for Walton Verona High School (2019 -2020).  She is so excited to be working on another musical and is honored to be a part of the Madeira Middle School production of Freaky Friday.
