Empty Bowls has a mission; to hopefully make a difference in the lives of others and help people in need. It is a national organization that promotes creating bowls and hosting a dinner to remind the world of all the real empty bowls throughout the world. We hope our event can bring awareness to our Madeira community and show others the struggle people face. This is also a fundraiser so that the 7th-grade students can really make some change.  We hope to complete service learning projects where we create a real impact with chosen organizations. Through Empty Bowls, we want to show the city of Madeira the reality of our world and hopefully broaden their mindsets.
