GOOGLEFEST KEYNOTE ANNOUNCED! SHUKES AND GIFF

The Michigan Association of Computers in Learning and GoogleFest are proud to announce our keynote speakers. Jen Giffen and Kim Pollishuke, co-hosts of the #ShukesandGiff the Podcast.

Keynote: Have an AHA? Give it a go!

Based on the premise of their podcast (Shukes and Giff), Kim Pollishuke and Jen Giffen will challenge the audience to question why they have not acted on moments of inspiration, consider the missed opportunity for impact and what could be. Peppered with dad jokes and personal stories, they hope to inspire people to “give it a go” no matter how big or small.

Podcasting is a great way to engage in professional metacognition and gives students meaningful writing opportunities that can be shared with an authentic audience. WHAT IS GOOGLEFEST?

GoogleFEST (#migooglefest) is a professional and personalized learning conference for educators. This is a full day conference with sessions for all educators levels from basic to advanced led by trainers from Google EDU, CDW-G and your colleagues! Up to four SCECHs will be available.

The conference is presented by the Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning (MACUL), Google for Education, and CDW-G.
