The Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and the CS for Michigan Collaborative is partnering with the Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning (MACUL) to continue our efforts in bringing you a unique learning opportunity to connect statewide work in the areas of Computer Science, including the implementation of the K-12 CS Standards and many other technology-driven initiatives.

CSforMichigan Learning
CSforMichigan will be hosting two days of focused learning, networking and in person tinkering on all things Computer Science. We hope that you block off the time on your calendars to join us for our in-depth workshops and the CSforMichigan Event on October 3-4, 2024 with a focus exploring, learning from peers and sessions to expand your Computer Science knowledge.
New Structure- Schedule of Events
This year there will be a new structure for the CSforMichigan Event! The event will span over two days. The 2024 format will entail:
Thursday - Workshops all day (8:30am-4:00pm), workshops will be in 3 hour blocks
Friday - Keynote, workshops, and breakout sessions (8:00am-2:00pm)
Registration and Accommodations
CSforMichigan will take place at DeVos Place in the Grand Gallery & Gallery Overlook rooms for all workshops and sessions.
Registration for the event is $99, which covers both days. Attendees are expected to participate on both Thursday and Friday.
The hotel group block at the Amway Grand is full.
Register by Friday, Sep. 27, 2024, to apply for a hotel scholarship for those in need and who meet eligibility requirements. Hotel scholarships are now closed.
