Artsonia keeps your student's artwork for you in a digital gallery format and allows you to invite friends and family to follow your student's creative journey through the years! Due to time constraints, I am able to upload some but not all work. You can help build your student's portfolio from your phone or tablet. Uploading art to Artsonia from home is easy to do! Artsonia guides you through the process with ease. Here is a step-by-step of the process. I have created a student named Test Test to use as an example in the pictures below. Give it a shot, and let me know if you have any questions! You can also have your student bring completed work to me, and I will upload for you.
First login in to Artsonia.com. It's helpful to have your device save your password if possible. If you need your student code again, let me know via email (teasleys@macschool.us) , and I can resend it to you. When you are asked, "Is this artwork for a completed School project", you can choose either Class Portal or Upload. Below are the steps for Class Portal.
Select "Add new artwork". Then, for "Select Project", choose "Wonderful Original Work". Next, "Verify yourself". Then upload your art. You can take a photo of it from your phone or tablet, or select from your phone or tablet's photo library....
You can edit your photo. When you are ready, press "Save". You may then enter a title and artist statement (or skip). When you have finished- or if you "skip"- this step , your work will be sent to me for a final approval and will then be uploaded. If you want this uploaded speedily, send me an email teasleys@macschool.us to alert me to the fact that you just uploaded work for the Artsonia gallery.... Otherwise it may take a while! Let me know how this goes for you and if I need to update these steps in any way.
