My artwork explores my identity as a Chinese Australian, of how I see myself and my background. The graphite pencil drawing depicts two versions of myself, a secondary figure standing in front of a mirror, while the main figure is in the reflection.

My reflection shows who I truly am, what my background is, and represents my chinese heritage. With the traditional clothing, modern street signage, lanterns and a dragon that is seen as protective and influential in Chinese culture.
