My artwork was inspired by the cubist style made famous by Pablo Picasso. Cubism was an era when they took apart objects and analysed them in terms of shapes. My sculputure was created with blocks of wood. Each block was painted in one colour or with a pattern. I painted a single facial feature on each block in a geometric form. Each block was placed in relation to each other and glued in position.
