Year 6 Confirmation candidates explored the symbols associated with Confirmation and painted on silk using fabric dye.

The dove symbolises the Holy Spirit and fire symbolises the Pentecost. These are positioned on either side of the white cotton altar cloth which houses a central gold cross and is trimmed with vintage Irish lace. The colour white symbolises Baptism, and the red and gold banners are finished off with gold trim, symbolising the oil of chrism.
