The students in Years 1 and 2 were introduced to the work of artist Alexander Calder. They explored many examples of his work and then, using a range of craft items, they created their own kinetic sculptures. Each sculpture moves in some way when a force (a tap, a flick, a gentle breath/blow, etc.) is applied to it. When the force stops, the movement stops!
