Students travelled virtually to different countries during Art. Students experimented with clay and mark-making to form these clay, glazed face masks. They took inspiration from Kimmy Cantrell, a contemporary artist from Atlanta, United States of America. Cantrell uses asymmetry to challenge traditional definitions of beauty. 'I want to show the beauty within flaws,' he explains. 'Imperfections tell stories that are far more compelling than perfection' (Kimmy Cantrell 2022).
