Tiger News Network (TNN) at Macon High School provides students in grades 11 and 12 with authentic, real-world experience in both broadcast and digital journalism. Through their involvement, students develop critical skills such as research, interviewing, writing, photography, videography, and digital editing.
TNN produces a monthly broadcast and a monthly tabloid-size digital newspaper, offering opportunities to apply classroom learning to real production environments. Students utilize industry-standard software, including Final Cut Pro, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop, to create high-quality journalistic content.
By combining creativity, collaboration, and technology, Tiger News Network prepares students for future success in media, communications, and beyond.
