The Community Food Bank of Macomb County works with the USDA TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) to provide food to those in need throughout Macomb County.

TEFAP is a federal program that helps supplement the diets of income eligible individuals and households by providing them with emergency food assistance at no cost.  

All agency partners must adhere to the requirements of this program.

REQUIRED ANNUAL TRAINING

All staff/volunteers who are in direct contact with clients must complete this training on an ANNUAL basis.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation.
