Using iClicker at SDSU
Access to iClicker is included in Day1 Ready program at SDSU.
Your instructor will require you use either the iClicker Student App, or an iClicker Remote to participate in class. Check with your instructor to confirm their preference. You will need to create an iClicker Student account to use either option to participate in class polling, and have your iClicker scores recorded in Canvas.
If your instructor is requiring the iClicker Student App, follow the instructions below to get started. If you have opted-in to the Day1Ready program, you will have access to use iClicker for the semester, but you will not receive an access code. Instead, we are removing the subscription requirement for your account. This will happen after drop/add date.
Don't buy a subscription, disregard the trial ending notification, you will still have access, and can participate in all courses using iClicker.
If you instructor is requiring an iClicker Remote, follow the instructions below to get started and register your Remote ID in your iClicker Student account. The SDSU Bookstore will provide your remote. You do not need to purchase access to the iClicker Student App to register or use an iClicker Remote.
If you decide to opt-out of the Day1 Ready program
You will need to purchase iClicker access separately to continue using the service after the drop / add period.
You can obtain an access code from the SDSU Bookstore, or buy direct from the Macmillan Student Store using a credit card or Paypal. You can also purchase directly in App through the App Store, or Google Play Store.
Some instructors may require you use an iClicker Remote. You do not need to purchase access to the iClicker Student App to register or use an iClicker Remote.
iClicker remotes are available to purchase at the SDSU Aztec Bookstore.
Getting Started with iClicker
First, review the Quick Start Guide for using iClicker below. If you already have an iClicker Student account, Sign In. If you do not have an account, Sign up.
Create only one account, your activity and points can only be associated with one account.
Use your university email (@sdsu.edu) when creating your account.
