• Required Course Materials:

This course is using a digital course material called Achieve. Achieve includes the full eTextbook and is delivered within Canvas via the Hawk Book Bundle Program. Students access Achieve by clicking on the Macmillan Learning Tab in Canvas. Students are automatically enrolled in the Hawk Book Bundle Program which gives students access to the required course materials on day one of class. The charge for the course materials ($22 per credit hour) is applied on students' school account along with tuition. 

Students have the option to opt out of the Hawk Book Bundle Program by HCC’s deadline (refer here for deadlines https://www.hccfl.edu/student-services/bookstore/hawk-book-bundle). Please note if the student opts out of the program the student must purchase the course material outside of the program, which is typically a higher price than the $22 per credit hour course fee. Students who remain opted into the Hawk Book Bundle program will have the option to upgrade to a physical print textbook at an additional charge. To purchase the physical print book, students go to the HCC bookstore, a representative verifies the student is opted into the program, then the student can purchase the optional physical print textbook upgrade.
