Founding member of the genre-blurring Los Angeles collective, West Coast Get Down, pianist Cameron Graves, aka The Planetary Prince, is shaking up the modern jazz scene. After immersing himself in jazz and classical studies, Graves melded his training with his love for heavy metal, creating a new genre he calls thrash-jazz.
