Exec Team

President

Brandy (she/her) and she is the president of the anthropology club this year! She is interested in cultural and linguistic anthropology. She has done a few projects in the community and is excited to get back out there with volunteer and supervised work. After her undergraduate studies she wants to pursue her passion in applied behavioral analysis. If you spot her on campus don’t be afraid to say hi!

Vice President

Emma (she/her), and she will be your vice president for MacEwan’s Anthropology Club this year! She is interested in biological anthropology and archaeology. She has volunteered in public archaeology and is excited to participate in more volunteer work with the club. She enjoys bird watching and reading. If you see her on campus, don’t be afraid to ask her what her favorite hominin is.

Treasurer

Amber (She/Her) is an Anthropology and Psychology major and she will also be running the social media for Macewan’s Anthro Club this year! She’s interested in linguistic and social-cultural anthropology. After her undergrad, she wants to pursue work in the city working towards programs and funding for better integrated programs to enhance social well being. She also loves to crochet and if you spot her on campus say hiii!

Secretary

Paige (any/all) and they’ve been helping with a few things in the background for MacEwan’s Anthropology club this year. Paige is mainly interested in linguistic and cultural anthropology but also loves some archaeology from time-to-time. Right now, Paige is currently working as a research assistant with Professor Katie Biittner on research relating to archaeogaming. If you see them on campus don’t feel afraid to stop and chat about their research and anthropology as a whole!

Junior Vice President

Sara (She/her) is the Vice President and will be helping other executives with their tasks. She's interested in archeology and the forensic side of anthropology. You may have seen her around the campus as she often helps with SAMU so you may have seen her around!

Role - Assist the four other officers with their duties, express views on how to better attract new students of MacEwan University to MASS.
