Below you will find scholarships available for graduating high school seniors.
Local Scholarships - All due March 1st
How to apply:
1. Open the "Common Application" Google Doc (click on link below)
2. MAKE A COPY
On a computer: Go to "File" ---> "Make a Copy"
3. Give the copy a NEW NAME
4. DO NOT checkmark the box to "Share with the same people"
5. Fill out the Application
6. Turn in via email to scholarships@maccray.k12.mn.us by March 1st at 11:59 p.m.
***The Common Application must be completed on a computer.
***Make sure to check the Eligibility Requirements (see link below) before completing the application form to determine which scholarships you are eligible for.

March Due Date
AgCountry Farm Credit Services Scholarship - due March 1, 2024. $1000 scholarships available to seniors who are from an actively farming or ranching family OR who are planning to pursue a career in farming or some other aspect of agriculture such as agricultural extension, agricultural education, soil conservation, farm and ranch management, agricultural finance, veterinary medicine or agri-business. Bernick Family Scholarship - due March 1, 2024. Ten $2000 scholarships available to seniors who live in the Bernick Service Area (see website for service area list). Click here for scholarship details and for a link to the online application.
Bill and Joyce Coborn's Memorial Scholarship - due March 1, 2024. Ten $1000 scholarships available to seniors who are Coborn's Inc. employees or their eligible children. Click here for scholarship details and for a link to the online application.
Brian Klinefelter Family Scholarship - due March 1, 2024. One $1000 scholarship available to a senior who is a dependent student of local, county, state or federal law enforcement, firefighter or paramedic personnel from the following counties: Sherburne, Benton, Morrison, Stearns, Douglas, Todd, Wright, Meeker, Kandiyohi or Pope. Clara City Area Scholarship - due March 1, 2024. Two $1000 scholarships will be awarded to MACCRAY seniors based on community volunteerism - students are required to have earned 50+ service hours between March 2023-March 2024. Click here to print the application or see Mrs. Bristle for a copy.
MACCRAY FCA Scholarship - due March 1, 2024. One $100 scholarship available to seniors who are involved in MACCRAY FCA. Click here to view the sholarship application. Make a copy. After filling out the application, download it as a Word document and email it directly to Todd Henker.
Josh Palke Scholarship - due March 1, 2024. One $2000 scholarship and four $1000 scholarships available to MACCRAY seniors planning to attend a two or four-year college. Click here for scholarship details and for a link to the application or see Mrs. Bristle for a copy.
Michael and Karel Helgeson Generations Scholarship - due March 1, 2024. Available to seniors who are children, step-children, adopted children or legal wards of Pilgrim's Gold'n Plump GNP) Business Unit team members (i.e. employee) and Pilgrim's Gold'n Plump (GNP) Business Unit family farm partners. Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative Scholarship - due March 1, 2024. Six scholarships available to seniors with immediate family members who are SMBSC Shareholders or Employees. Click here for details and to print the application or see Mrs. Bristle for a copy.
Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Scholarship - due March 1, 2024. Scholarships available to high school seniors who demonstrate passion for the automotive hobby and career and are enrolled in a college, university or post-secondary trade school in the United States pursuing a degree or certification that leads to a career in automotive. Leenthrop Farmers Mutual Insurance Company Scholarship - due March 1, 2024. Scholarship(s) in the amount of up to $2000 will be available to graduating seniors whose parent(s) have an insurance policy in effect with Leenthrop Farmers Mutual Insurance Company at the time of the scholarship application. Jenni-O Turkey Store Scholarship - due March 8, 2024. Up to 50 $1,000 scholarships and up to two $6,000 scholarships available to seniors who are a child of a full-time Jenni-O employee or who work for Jenni-O themselves. Click here to print the application or see Mrs. Bristle for a copy.
Montevideo Area Chamber Ag Scholarship - due March 15, 2024. Available to seniors who are pursuing a career in agriculture or a career that will contribute to agriculture or the rural economy. Click here to print the application or see Mrs. Bristle for a copy.
West Central Smiles Scholarship - due March 19, 2024. Two $500 scholarships available to any high school seniors attending MACCRAY, Montevideo, LQPV, YME, RCW, CMCS, or Dawson-Boyd. Click here to print the application or see Mrs. Bristle for a copy.
April Due Date
Minnesota West Workforce Development Scholarship - due April 1, 2024. Fifty $2,500 scholarships available to new and returning Minnesota West students enrolled in a qualifying program. Click here for more detailed information and to apply.
Pennock Lions Club Scholarship - due April 1, 2024. This $500 scholarship is open to high school seniors living in the Pennock area. Click here to print the application or see Mrs. Bristle for a copy.
UCB Family Epilepsy Scholarship Program - due April 6, 2024. Thirty $5,000 and three $10,000 scholarships available to seniors who have been diagnosed with epilepsy by a physician or is the immediate family member and/or caregiver of a person living with epilepsy. Prairie Pothole Conservation Association - due April 12, 2024. Two $1000 scholarships awarded to graduating seniors planning on pursuing a career in Natural Resources and/or Conservation-related field. Click here to print the application or see Mrs. Bristle for a copy.
Christianson CPAs and Consultants Scholarship - Due April 15, 2024: Two $1000 scholarships available to graduating seniors who plan to pursue a career in the Accounting field and obtain their degree at either a 2-year or 4-year college with at least 12 credits per semester. Minnesota AFL-CIO Scholarship - due May 1, 2024. Five $1,000 scholarships available for seniors who are a union member or a dependent of a union member whose local union is affiliated with the Minnesota AFL-CIO, who have a straight “B” average or better, and who plan to attend a post-secondary institution located within the state of Minnesota. Kandiyohi County Corn and Soybean Growers Scholarship - due May 1, 2024. Two $1,000 scholarships available to high school seniors pursuing a postsecondary education in an agricultural related field. Click here to view scholarship application criteria or see Mrs. Bristle for a copy.
Sacred Heart Jaycees Scholarship - due May 3, 2024. Two $1000 scholarships are available to high school seniors who reside in Sacred Heart. Click here to print the application or see Mrs. Bristle for a copy.
Form-a-Feed Service Grant - due May 15, 2024. Two $1,000 grants available to high school seniors pursuing a postsecondary education in a career of service, or in their first or second year of military service, in any of the following vocations: military, law enforcement, fire, EMS, nursing, medical school, hospice care or other related first-responder or community care field. Form-a-Feed Scholarship - due May 15, 2024. One $2500 scholarship available to high school seniors with a 3.0 or higher GPA pursuing a postsecondary education in an agricultural-related field. Click here to view the website for more details and application requirements.
Minnesota School Counselor Association Scholarship - due May 24, 2024 . Twelve $500 scholarships (one finalist per each of the ten MSCA divisions & two additional BIPOC recipients) will be awarded to high school seniors pursuing post-secondary education at an institution of their choice. Minnesota Construction Association Scholarship - due May 31, 2024. Four scholarships in the amount of $1,000, $2,000, $3,000, and $4,000 are available for students going into a 4-year program and three scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each are available for students going into a tech/trade school program for construction. June Due Date
Heritage Bank Scholarship - due June 1, 2024. Available to graduating seniors who are accepted and intend to enroll full-time at Ridgewater College for the Fall semester. Students must be accepted to Ridgewater College before applying for scholarships.

Upper Minnesota Valley Regional Development Commission Community Development Planner Scholarship - open due date: Two $2500 scholarships for residents from Big Stone, Chippewa, Swift, Lac qui Parle, and Yellow Medicine Counties who have designated one of the following degrees as their undergraduate degree: Urban & Regional Studies/Planning, Urban Planning, Planning & Community Development, or Community Development.
