Below you will find scholarships available for graduating high school seniors.

MACCRAY Lions Club Scholarships - All due March 1st

How to apply:

1. Open the "Common Application" Google Doc (click on link below)

2. MAKE A COPY

• • On a computer: Go to "File" ---> "Make a Copy" 

3. Give the copy a NEW NAME

4. DO NOT checkmark the box to "Share with the same people" 

5. Fill out the Application 

6. Turn in via email to scholarships@maccray.k12.mn.us by March 1st at 11:59 p.m.

***The Common Application must be completed on a computer. 

***Make sure to check the Eligibility Requirements (see link below) before completing the application form to determine which scholarships you are eligible for.

February Due Date

• James W. Tracy Scholarship - due February 1, 2026. $2500 scholarships available to Minnesota seniors who plan to pursue a post-secondary degree in Agriculture or Animal Husbandry. Click here for full scholarship details and access to the online application. 

• ​Central Minnesota Farm Show Scholarship - due February 1, 2026. Ten $1,000 scholarships available to high school students enrolled in a central MN high school who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and plan to enroll in a field of study rooted in agri-education or agri-business.  Click here for more details and to access the online application.

• MN Valley Cooperative Light & Power Association - due February ​6, 202​6. ​Up to ​$​4000​ in scholarship​s available to a high school senior​(s) planning to enroll in a two-year or four-year college or university or in a vocational/technical school program for the 202​6-202​7 school year. ​The student must be a dependent child of a Minnesota Valley Cooperative member-consumer. • ​Renville-Sibley Cooperative Power Association Scholarship - due February 12, 2026. $7000 in scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors who are a dependent of a member of the Renville-Sibley Cooperative. Students must plan to enroll as a full-time student in an undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school. • Horatio Alger Scholarship - due February 15, 2026. National scholarships available to high school seniors who have a GPA of 2.0 or higher, demonstrate financial need, and plan to earn a bachelor's degree at one of twenty-six colleges that participate in the scholarship program. • Minnesota Masonic Charities Selfless Scholar Scholarship - due February 28, 2026. For this scholarship, students NOMINATE a fellow student to recognize the kindness of that fellow student. If that student’s story of kindness is selected for recognition, the nominee and the nominator will share the $5,000 scholarship. March Due Date

• FCA Scholarship - due March 1, 2026. $250 scholarship(s) available to seniors who are involved in MACCRAY FCA. Click here to view the scholarship application. Make a copy. After filling out application, download as a PDF and email directly to Todd Henker. 

• Clara City Area Scholarship - due March 1, 2026. Up to two $1000 scholarships will be awarded to MACCRAY seniors based on community volunteerism. At least 50 hours of community service are required between March 2025 - March 2026. Click here to print the application or see Mrs. Bristle for a copy. You will also need to fill out the Volunteer Service Log to submit with the application - you will have to make a copy of this Google Sheets form to fill it out.

• Bernick Family Scholarship - due March 1, 2026. Ten $4000 scholarships (over four years) available to seniors  who plan to attend a four-year college and who live in the Bernick Service Area (see website for service area list). • Bernick Family Trades Scholarship - due March 1, 2026. Ten $2000 scholarships (over two years) available to seniors  who plan to attend a technical or community college and who live in the Bernick Service Area (see website for service area list). Preference will be given to students whose field relates to the Bernick business (i.e. Mechanics, Transportation, Warehouse Management, Accounting and Finance, Information Technology, Sales, and Marketing). • Bill and Joyce Coborn's Memorial Scholarship - due March 1, 2026. Up to twenty $1000 scholarships available to seniors who are Coborn's Inc. employees or their eligible children. Click here for scholarship details and for a link to the online application. 

• Jenni-O Turkey Store Scholarship - due March 1, 2026. Up to fifty $1,000 scholarships and up to two $6,000 scholarships available to seniors who are a child of a full-time or part-time Jenni-O employee or who work for Jenni-O themselves. • Kandiyohi County Farm Bureau Scholarship - due March 1, 2026. One $1000 available to seniors who live in Kandiyohi County and plan to major in an agriculture-related field. Farm Bureau Family Membership is not required, but preference will be given to members. Click here for scholarship details and for a link to the online application. 

• Leenthrop Farmers Mutual Insurance Company Scholarship - due March 1, 202​6. Scholarship(s) in the amount of up to $2000 will be available to graduating seniors whose parent(s) have an insurance policy in effect with Leenthrop Farmers Mutual Insurance Company at the time of the scholarship application.   • Students eligible for this scholarship are also eligible to apply for the Minnesota Association of Farm Mutual Insurance Companies (MAFMIC) Scholarship, due March 1​3, 202​6. Please click here to print the separate application form or see Mrs. Bristle for a copy. 

• Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative Scholarship - due March 2, 2026. Six scholarships available to seniors with immediate family members who are SMBSC Shareholders or Employees. Click here for details and to print the application or see Mrs. Bristle for a copy. 

• UCB Family Epilepsy Scholarship Program - due March 15, 2026. Thirty $5,000 and three $10,000 scholarships available to seniors who have been diagnosed with epilepsy by a physician or is the immediate family member and/or caregiver of a person living with epilepsy. • ​West Central Smiles Scholarship - due March 19, 2026.  Two $500 scholarships available to any high school seniors attending MACCRAY, Montevideo, LQPV, YME, RCW, CMCS, or Dawson-Boyd. Click here to print the application or see Mrs. Bristle for a copy.
