MacChyver became Karen's nickname at school when a colleague, Bruce Pickens, starting calling Karen "MacChyver." He claims, "She can fix anything."
When it came time to choose a domain name, MacChyver Tech was born. (It didn't hurt that Karen is a fan of the true MacChyver, Richard Dean Anderson.)
