What if uteruses had their own thoughts, feelings, and social lives? What if period disorders became humanoid and ran around, haunting humans in public spaces, instead of being hidden behind the veil of cis-hetero patriarchy? Moment of Silence trans-affirmingly gives birth to a world where reality is magical and magic is real.
Playwright's Note
This play is dedicated to all the transgender sisters, brothers, and siblings who we have lost to murderous TERF ideology. To those friend groups who would cut themselves open, donate their uteruses to the trans women, sow themselves back up, and bury the bodies of TERFs at the bottom of the ocean.
Content Warning
The play includes depictions or discussions of suicide, period disorders, mental illness, swearing, birth, sexual content, death, graphic descriptions, and loud noises.
