All about My project
The summer of 2022, I was awarded a Live it fund by the Macalester college entrepreneurship and innovation office. The fund was directed towards the implementation of "A time capsule of Kampala." This project was a time capsule in the form of a visual arts exhibition. My hope was for this to be a documentation of the pandemic experience in the eyes of youths in Kampala.

The power in collaboration
I collaborated with amazing artists and Curators who had the patience to go through the motions with me as a beginner. It opened my eyes to the many innovative initiatives in Kampala. I also grew a renewed respect for the arts as I worked so closely with people who tell Ugandan stories with such intentionality.
