Exciting news!! The 2026 MARC Wildcat Colloquium is now complete and was a success! Congratuations to all of my MARC peers on their amazing presentations and all of the hard work they have put into their research over the past two years!

My MARC paper is finally complete! I'm incredibly proud of the piece of work and it will be linked in the tab titled "Project Results" for anyone to read.

Today I ran through my MARC Wildcat Colloquium presentation with my MARC class and have received feedback that I implimented into my slides. Now my presentation is fully finalized and I'm super excited to present next week on May 26!

Just finished creating my presentation for the MARC Wildcat Colloquium! I'm now in getting ready to practice presenting to my MARC cohort and am eager for feedback.

I just received feedback from Amelie on my research paper and have made some key edits. I'm now in the final stages and wrapping up my writing!

I've completed a first draft of my whole research paper! I'm excited to begin the editing process!

I have written the first draft of the discussion section of my paper. So far, I feel that what I have is solid, but I need to flush out my writing a little more to possibly add more detail.

The polished draft of the results section of my paper is complete with figures and writing! I'm excited to get feedback on this section and continue to refine.

I'm excited to announce that I have results! After analyzing the data from the tSNE plots in Digi Worm, an online single cell sequencing atlas, I determined that planarians do express MYH7 in their muscle cells.

Exciting news!! Today Dr. Amelie Raz officially agreed to become my mentor for my project. I have selected to investigate the presence of MYH7, a gene that contributes to cardiomyopathy, in planarians.

Today, Amelie, and I met over zoom to discuss the complicated process of single cell sequencing. I'm now fully prepared to add what I learned to the intro and methods section of my paper.
