This paper is a similar concept to the experiment I am conducting. My mentor contributed to this paper, and it showed promising results. Unlike our research, this paper is mapping chemicals and relatedness based on previously published papers. It is using text mining to derive its data. For my reserach, I am collecting plant samples and deriving the data myself.

This paper is what allowed me to find my mentor Dr. Hiroshi Maeda. It discusses a sota mutation found in plants that increases carbon absorption by 30% which results in more aromatic amino acid production. I was fascinated by this work given my interest in climate change.
