MARIN ACADEMY RESEARCH COLLABORATIVE | Student Blogs

The Marin Academy Research Collaborative (MARC) program provides the opportunity for select students to engage in authentic, independent STEM research. Supported by a robust science literacy & research methods curriculum, MARC scholars pursue innovative research questions in their STEM field of interest. While every student works on a different project of their choosing, MARC scholars support each other in the process of research over two years (junior & senior year). Students work closely with the MARC Coordinator over those two years, and they also connect with professional scientists in their research area who volunteer their time to serve as external, subject-specific project mentors. MARC is an application-based program, and students apply in the spring of their sophomore year.

Our MARC Blog allows our MARC scholars to showcase their research projects, ideas, and results; solicit advice and feedback; and join the broader scientific conversation. Check out the student pages using the tabs above!
