Background
My Sophomore year I took the MARC EED course and fell in love with the opportunities it gave me. I started working with my current mentor that year and got super excited about what I was researching. I applied to the MARC program later that year, with the intent to continue that research. I have been lucky enough to have gotten in and I am continuing to research what I am passionate about. I took Astrophysics in order to better understand my research and I hope to take Computer Science my senior year.
