In 2020, Susan- whose favorite holidays are Halloween & Christmas- decided that a Christmas tree farm would be a fulfilling retirement plan that would keep them active & Pat (mostly) out of her hair.

The 1st Christmas trees were planted in January 2021, on what was cow pasture & dewberry fields. Those 670 seedlings, planted by hand, have (amazingly) mostly survived frosts, freezes, droughts, storms, & deer, & are ready for sale.

Pat, who semi-retired in April 2025, does indeed keep busy on the farm. The farm has yet to keep him out of Susan's hair.
