Hello everyone!
I'm Sara Schaefer, the 7th grade resource teacher. I'm looking forward to some normalcy this school year and am excited to get this year rolling! This is my 10th year teaching- my seventh year with 7th graders.
What is my role? I teach small group math and reading classes for 7th and 8th graders and am also a co-teacher in Social Studies and Language Arts this year. Co-teaching means that I am a second teacher in the class. I'm there to engage in discussion, answer questions, read tests, help students take notes and understand content, and make sure students have the accommodations and resources they need to be successful.
As a case manager, I also develop the IEPs, host IEP meetings, and work on goal progress with students. I'm looking forward to this school year and getting to know your child. If you have any questions at all, please reach out via email.
