Provenance of the School Name

In the spring of 1969, in light of hometown development and increasing population, local gentry in Longtan Township formed the school-founding preparatory committee in April, and the school officially started recruiting students on August 1 in the same year. Since the school was located at the foot of Lingyungang, it was named Ling Yun Junior High School. 

Special Education

The school’s special education and resource classes cater to students with special needs in the Longtan region. The special education class is divided into groups according to the students’ abilities, while the resource classes are grouped and arranged based on the students’ needs. 

Since the school’s special education class was established, it has received widespread praise, and the teachers who took part in Teaching Material/Aid Competitions have won awards repeatedly. In 2010, the Hope Garden was created to grow a variety of vegetables and plants. In addition to acting as a practical course venue for the special education class’s vocational education, Hope Garden also provides a location for regular class students to observe natural ecology.
