Take the MSW Research Survey

As graduate students in the School of Social Work at Marywood University, we are conducting a study on several psycho-social variables during the COVID-19 pandemic. More specifically, we are investigating social connectedness, resilience, life satisfaction, self-compassion, and anxiety during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

YOU are invited to participate in our study, as you are a current student or faculty member at Marywood University. To qualify, you must be at least eighteen years old and located in the United States of America. If you wish to participate, you will be asked to complete an online survey that is expected to take approximately 10-15 minutes. The survey is available through a Qualtrics Survey Site.

The risks of participating in this study are no greater than those found in daily life. The study will increase knowledge about the relationship of social connectedness, resilience, anxiety, self-compassion, and life satisfaction to personal experiences at a time of physical distancing, reduced socialization, and ongoing pandemic-related coping. Learning about peoples’ experiences and levels of social connectedness may help us build support to increase our capacity for social connection during this and similar events that may unfold in the future.

Your information is anonymous, meaning even the researchers will not know your identity. All data used in any oral or written reports will be aggregated.
