integrated planning & effectiveness (IPE)
The University of Lynchburg adopted its strategic plan in May 2022. The plan is focused around the mission, values, and pillars of the institution. The Integrated Planning & Effectiveness (IPE) framework adopted by the University in May 2022 ensures a systematic review of the goals and outcomes and that the focus in on the continuous improvement of institutional quality and effectiveness. The IPE framework describes how the goals of strategic plan are integrated into the goals and objectives at the unit-level (educational programs, academic and student support services, and administrative support services) and how each unit of the institution includes research-based methods to measure progress toward goals and outcomes in all areas of the institution.

Beginning in 2023-24, following the adoption of the University's strategic plan and corresponding Integrated Planning & Effectiveness (IPE) framework in May 2022, a common reporting format was adopted for administrative support service units to link their unit's goals and objectives to the goals and objectives of the strategic plan and track the unit's progress toward accomplishing goals.
