Camtasia combines screen recording, webcam video, and video editing to provide you with a comprehensive tool for creating video resources for your courses. Camtasia licenses are available to Lynchburg faculty and staff through ITR. If you are interested in using Camtasia, contact ITR to have the program installed on your computer. Please let me know if you have any questions about using Camtasia or creating video resources in general. I have included a link to several video tutorials located on Camtasia's website.
Google Meet is a video conferencing tool that enables you to connect with your students no matter where they are. Building a strong community within your online course is a vital step in creating an environment where students feel invested and free to share and engage. With Meet you can offer one-to-one help through virtual office hours, host a synchronous course help session, break your class into small groups, and record class presentations. I have a linked the Google Meet support page for more information and support using Meet.
These videos cover the process of uploading your course videos to YouTube as well as embedding them in your Moodle course page. The second video also contains instructions for embedding videos from the Lynchburg Media Server.
