Safe Space Ally Training 

A Safe Space is a welcoming, supportive, and safe environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning (LGBTQ+) persons.

Safe Space Training:

• Explores terminology linked to the LGBTQ+ community

• Integrates the qualities of an ally and advocate of the LGBTQ+ persons for those at the University of Lynchburg and in the community

• Explores local, national, and global resources to advocate for LGBTQ+ persons

• Creates an environment of inclusivity and respect for this in the LGBTQ+ community
