UN Women is a leading committee dedicated to defending gender equality and the rights of women worldwide. This year, delegates will confront the critical situation of women’s rights in Afghanistan, where systematic abuses continue to threaten the lives and freedoms of millions. The committee will explore how the international community can take action while respecting international human rights law. Through debate, diplomacy, and negotiation, participants will face real-world dilemmas where law, humanitarian responsibility, and global governance collide. This committee challenges delegates to engage with one of the most urgent human rights crises of our time and to craft strong, realistic solutions with global impact.
