The County welcomes observers at the Elections Department, and all vote centers, and routinely provides election observing guidelines on the El Dorado County Elections website. All members of the public have the right to observe the elections process, whether through an organized effort like ours, or not. Working with the county elections office, the EDC League of Women Voters has consolidated the necessary information about how to be an election observer here, and created a sign-up to coordinate our effort to promote election observation to our members and to the public. You do not need to belong to our organization to be part of the observation corps with us, and we welcome you to sign up!
There are 13 Vote Centers in El Dorado County. Three of them will be open for ten days plus election day, and the other ten of them will be open for three days plus election day.
Please note that by signing up to be an election observer, you agree to adhere to all guidelines outlined below, and available to be printed out in the attached document.
