Go to hangouts.google.com
Sign in using your @lwolsyc.org account.
In the white box on the left side of the page, click "+ New Conversation" and add who you would like to message, using their full @lwolsyc.org email address. These can be found in your Student User List on Google Drive.
Once you enter the recipient email address, you will press enter and send your invitation to chat!
Go to calendar.google.com
Make sure you are logged in to your @lwolsyc.org Google account.
In the detailed calendar in the middle, find the event you are looking for using the provided date and time.
Click ONCE on the event - a small window will pop up with event details.
Click "Join Google Meet" - a new window will open with your Meet.
You may see a pop-up that asks for permission to access the camera and microphone - click "Allow." Once your camera and mic are active, you will see the view from your own camera (you'll see yourself on the screen). This is so you can check your face, hair, clothes, etc before joining the call. It is also VERY IMPORTANT that you check what else in the background is visible to the guests in your Meet. When everything looks good, be sure to press "Join Now" to join the call!
